While these tables provide essential data, they offer limited insight into how multiple diffusers will interact within an actual room. SelectiV transforms this traditional selection process into a complete room-first design approach.
Users can create a room in 3D, position diffusers and calculate airflow performance in seconds or minutes. Air distribution can be visualized from multiple 2D and 3D viewpoints in heating, cooling and ventilation modes, helping engineers compare solutions and identify potential comfort issues before installation.
SelectiV’s Auto-Design feature takes optimization even further. It analyzes hundreds or thousands of combinations—including diffuser sizes, configurations, quantities and locations—to identify the solution that provides the best overall performance in both heating and cooling. Instead of simply selecting a product, engineers can optimize the complete air-distribution design for the room.
SelectiV also dramatically simplifies the design of continuous linear slot diffuser systems. Engineers can quickly draw a continuous run with active and passive sections, and the software automatically breaks it down into the proper diffuser components required for ordering and installation.
For architectural duct diffusers such as BREEZ, SelectiV can evaluate millions of perforation patterns and recommend the solutions best suited to the room geometry and operating conditions.
