We are excited to announce the launch of the SKP-LP and SKP-HP, innovative constant air volume dampers for circular ducts. These state-of-the-art dampers greatly facilitate the balancing of ventilation systems by maintaining a constant air volume despite pressure variations in the system.
SKP-HP High Pressure Constant Air Volume Damper / Constant Air Regulator
The SKP-LP is designed for low pressure systems, with a pressure range of 0.08 to 0.4 in.w.g. (20 – 100 Pa). The SKP-HP is designed for high pressure systems, with a pressure range of 0.6 to 2.4 in.w.g. (150 – 600 Pa). Both models can be preset by the installer to maintain a specific air volume in cfm or m3/h, using a screw. The dampers will then auto-adjust and compensate for pressure changes in order to maintain the desired volume of air.
The housing of the SKP-LP and SKP-HP is constructed from durable galvanized steel or plastic, while the regulator blade is made from high-quality plastic and the tightness joint from rubber. These dampers are also UL 2043 rated, ensuring their safety and reliability.
In addition to the SKP-LP and SKP-HP, we also offer the SKP constant air volume damper, which is a self-adjustable damper designed for medium pressure systems, with a pressure range of 0.2 to 1 in.w.g. (50 – 250 Pa). All models are available in a range of sizes to fit 4″, 5″, 6″, 8″, and 10″ diameter ducts. These versatile dampers are suitable for a variety of ventilation systems and applications with medium, low, or high pressure requirements.
SKC-C Constant Air Volume Damper for Circular Duct
Another constant air volume damper offered by EffectiV is the SKC-C, with a wider pressure range varying between 0.2 and 4 in.w.g. (50 – 1000 Pa). The desired constant air volume on SKC-C is set by means of a knob outside the duct. It is therefore easier to modify the desired air volume after installation in needed.
By extending its line of constant air regulators, EffectiV now has the perfect solution for every possible application.
