SKC Constant Air Volume Damper - Quality and Precision Control

SKC Constant Air Volume Damper – Quality and Precision Control

November 7, 2018

Did you know that each SKC Constant Air Volume Damper is individually tested prior to being shipped? Despite its great accuracy by design, SKC undergoes a final test, in which the air volume is measured at three different pressure levels. Minor adjustments are applied when needed in order to ensure an accuracy of 90% or more of the volume of air supplied at varying pressures.

SKC is a self-adjustable damper, independent of external energy sources. It is preset by the installer to maintain a specific air volume in m3/h, easily convertible to cfm. The damper will then auto-adjust itself to maintain the desired volume of air while performing within a pressure range between 0.2 and 4.019 in.w.g. (between 50 and 1,000 Pa).
